After arriving in Tehran on Sunday, Afghan President Hamid Karzai struck a cooperation pact with Iran. The deal comes amid tensions with the U.S. as Karzai is resisting to sign a long-term security agreement with the United States. After meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, the two leaders agreed on a long-term pact to ensure political, economic and cultural cooperation.
