Thousands of far-right protesters march through the streets of Kiev... ...chanting "death to our enemies". They're calling for official recognition of a World War Two nationalist force called the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, or UPA... ...as well as better conditions for soldiers fighting against pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine. The UPA -- a radical splinter group of the Ukrainian nationalist movement OUN -- remains a controversial subject in Ukraine's history. Although the group initially resisted the Nazi invasion, it switched sides to fight with the Germans against Soviet forces. Today, it draws support from Ukraine's far-right politicians.
