A show of force at sea. His country may still be reeling from last weeks' extremist attacks, but French President Francois Hollande says France will continue the fight against Islamic State. During a tour of his country's flagship, Charles de Gaulle, Hollande told its crew that the aircraft carrier is ready for action. (SOUNDBITE) (French) FRENCH PRESIDENT, FRANCOIS HOLLANDE, SAYING: "Today, the situation in the Middle East justifies our aircraft carrier's presence. So thanks to the Charles de Gaulle we'll have precious intelligence. If necessary, we'll be able to conduct even more intense and efficient operations in Iraq." Hollande says the carrier will give coalition forces all the capabilities for an airstrike launch if necessary. (SOUNDBITE) (French) FRENCH PRESIDENT, FRANCOIS HOLLANDE, SAYING: "In the international context I've just described, and with the attack that took place in our own country, to a certain extent you are on a mission." And that mission he says, will continue despite fears of more militant attacks on French soil.
