The latest video released by Islamic State militants purports to show the beheading of a group of Egyptian Christians kidnapped in Libya. The video, which Reuters cannot verify, shows militants standing over the 21 hostages who were forced to kneel. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi spoke to the nation hours after the video came out. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT, ABDEL FATTAH AL-SISI, SAYING: "Egypt reserves the right of retaliation, and with the methods and timing it sees fit for retribution from those murderers and criminals who are without the slightest humanity." Days earlier the hostages' relatives held a protest in Cairo to urge the government to secure their release. Thousands of Egyptians have traveled to Libya in search of work in the past four years. But with political turmoil there intensifying, officials worry that Islamist militant groups are taking advantage of the chaos. Egyptian media report that President Sisi has called for a seven-day mourning period.
