ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama used his weekly address on Saturday (March 7) to mark International Women's Day set for Sunday (March 7) and to promote an issue he said is close to his heart -- the importance of girls' access to education around the world. Obama spoke of a new initiative he and First Lady Michelle Obama have launched called "Let Girls Learn," aimed at helping 62 million girls worldwide gain access to education. He said he believes a world in which education is available to women is more stable, more prosperous and safer. Obama also spoke of his two daughters, Malia and Sasha, saying he knew there were many more girls out there with something to offer the world.
