U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif have resumed nuclear talks in the Swiss city of Lausanne. The two men are trying to break a logjam in negotiations ahead of a crucial meeting between Iran and six major powers. With them are U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz (MO-NEEZ) and Iran's nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi, who met to negotiate the more technical details on how to curb Iran's nuclear program. Western powers are hoping for concessions from Tehran that could help clinch a political agreement in the talks this week. Kerry has urged Iran to make concessions in exchange for the lifting of sanctions. The parties have set a June 30 deadline to finalize an accord.
