ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel laid wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin Wall on Sunday. The leaders walked up to the memorial as an orchestra was playing mourning music. Then Putin and Merkel walked along the Kremlin Wall talking to each other without interpreters. Russia celebrated victory over Nazi Germany with a lavish military parade on Saturday. Merkel and other Western leaders shunned the parade, but she arrived in Moscow Sunday pay tributes to the memory of World War Two victims.
