Actress and UN Special Envoy Angelina Jolie on the ground in Mardin Turkey where she explores local shops ahead of a series of meetings and a visit to a Syrian refugee camp in the southeast province. She is in Turkey to mark World Refugee Day -- but some residents were more focused on her star power. In a series of meetings she is joined by UN High Commissioner Antonio Guterres. She is also accompanied by one of her children. At the Mardin Mayor's office she is greeted with flowers and kisses. The UN representatives then sit down with the mayor ahead of a visit to a refugee camp. Turkey now hosts more than two million refugees and has spent more than 6 billion dollars to house them. An estimated 3.8 million people have fled Syria since the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad began in 2011. These are the lucky ones. More than 220,000 people have died in the conflict where a resolution remains elusive after more than four years of conflict.
