ROUGH CUT (No reporter narration) STORY: Calling for unity and calm, Hollande was speaking after a meeting of ministers and security personnel in Paris, focusing on the attack which also left two injured on an industrial estate not far from the city of Lyon. The incident took place barely six months after Islamist gunmen killed 17 people in a series of attacks in and around Paris in January. "In France we have a spirit that must be cherished and that's our unity. Our ability to make it through, as we showed at the start of January, an honourable moment for France, and a moment of pride. At the same time, the French people should know that security forces are today deployed on a scale not seen in our country for decades," Hollande said. The terror alert level would be raised in the affected region for three days, the president said, with checks carried out at sensitive sites including stations and industrial estates.
