Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras returned home after visit to Brussels and Strasbourg in search of emergency funding, pledging to present detailed proposals to creditors on Thursday. Tsipras arrived back in Athens on Wednesday night and went into a meeting with the leader of the opposition To Potami party. Afterwards he said he would be briefing all parties who've agreed to support him. (SOUNDBITE)(Greek) GREEK PRIME MINISTER ALEXIS TSIPRAS SAYING: "These are crucial times and it's necessary to provide proper information to the political parties so that there are no misunderstandings. Further to this I think we're proceeding within the framework of what was agreed yesterday and the next hours will be crucial." Euro zone leaders have given Greece until the end of the week to detail far-reaching reform plans that would permit access to funds to pay an overdue IMF loan. The head of the International Monetary Fund is warning Greece has an acute crisis on its hands but says its rules can't be bent to suit Athens. (SOUNDBITE)(English) CHRISTINE LAGARDE, MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND SAYING: "Whenever the IMF is involved, it is certainly my view that the IMF has to follow its rules, should not bend the rules and should always be even handed, there can not be any special treatment." Much now rests on what plans Greece puts forward...and how those plans differ from the spending cuts and tax rises rejected by Greek voters in a referendum on July 5th.
