ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders reflected on the arguments made by Republicans on the Iran deal during last week's Republican Presidential debate on Fox. "It's so easy to be critical of an agreement which is not perfect," Sanders told CBS host John Dickerson. "But the United States has to negotiate with, you know, other countries. We have to negotiate with Iran. And the alternative, the alternative of not reaching an agreement: You know what it is? It's war," He went on to say. Supporters of the deal, which is being scrutinized in Congress, suffered a setback on Thursday when a top senator from ABM's Democratic party, Chuck Schumer of New York, announced his opposition. Opponents still face a stiff challenge in defeating the agreement after a review process that ends in September. Many Democrats have not decided how they will vote when Congress returns in September from a five-week recess, but several have come out in favor.
