THIS EDIT CONTAINS USER-GENERATED CONTENT THAT WAS UPLOADED TO A SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITE. IT HAS BEEN CHECKED BY REUTERS' SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM AND REVIEWED BY A SENIOR EDITOR. REUTERS IS CONFIDENT THE EVENTS PORTRAYED ARE GENUINE. This attack by the Syrian army is one of the worst in the country's civil war. This video was uploaded to social media websites and shows the extent of the devastation. Rescue workers say over 50 people are dead, and dozens more were seriously injured. Entire families are believed to be trapped underneath the rubble, and the death toll's expected to rise. A week before this latest attack, an air strike hit a market place nearby, killing at least 100 people. The area is held by rebels. The Syrian army denies it targets civilian areas, and says it strikes at places hiding armed insurgents seeking to topple President Bashar al-Assad. The four-year-long war has killed an estimated quarter of a million people.
