ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Pope Francis arrived in Revolution Square in Havana on Sunday morning (September 20) to celebrate Mass with tens of thousands of Cubans. In full papal regalia, the Pope waved at the thousands of pilgrims who had gathered to attend the mass presided over by his holiness. The huge plaza is where Cubans celebrate May Day beneath massive portraits of revolutionary leaders Ernesto "Che" Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos built into the facades of government buildings. While Cuba's government basks in the glow of Francis' four-day visit, it is not clear whether Francis will use the stage on Sunday to criticize the Communist leaders on democracy and human rights. The pope may also visit retired leader Fidel Castro, 89.
