What's the new link between Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Visa the makers of Budweiser beer? They're all major soccer sponsors and now they're all calling on FIFA President Sepp Blatter to step down. The big hitters stepped in a week after Swiss authorities said they were launching a criminal investigation into Blatter as part of a widening corruption scandal. They're investigating allegations of criminal mismanagement and misappropriation of funds. It's the first time the finger's been pointed directly at him. Coca-Cola and McDonalds have both issued statements saying FIFA's reputation is being damaged and so too is public confidence in its leadership. Both statements called for urgent reform. Blatter denies any wrongdoing. In a statement through his U.S. lawyer he said leaving office wouldn't be in FIFA's best interests or advance reform of the organisation.
