Hillary Clinton has spoken at length about the attacks in Benghazi since she first addressed Congress on the subject in 2013. But now, as the candidate for president prepares for another day of testimony, her supporters are rallying around with what amounts to a campaign ad. (NATSOT AD) It's just the latest salvo in the partisan fight over Benghazi. Republicans have spent the last few weeks attempting to backtrack on comments by House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy, suggesting that the committee investigating the 2012 attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, was politically motivated to drive down clinton's poll numbers. McCarthy himself has joined that effort. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER KEVIN MCCARTHY, IN AN EXCHANGE WITH A REPORTER, SAYING: "Let's be very clear. Benghazi is not political. It was created for one purpose and one purpose only: to find the truth on behalf of the families of the four dead Americans." And the public relations war is unlikely to die down... just as Hillary Clinton prepares to take her turn in the Benghazi spotlight once again.
