ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump hailed the release of the high ratings he received as host of the NBC show Saturday Night Live during a campaign rally in Illinois. He also shouted down opponents at the rally who began heckling him when he repeated his controversial views on Hispanics. "You probably saw Saturday Night Live, did anybody watch?" he told a cheering auditorium. "So they set a tremendous ratings, I mean the ratings were like, through the roof. You heard, right? Oh, the media were so disappointed in those ratings, they were dying to say, 'Trump bombs, the show was a disaster, nobody watched,' but it was, even the pickets, they all left a half-hour earlier. They went home to watch the show. It's true," Trump said. Trump's appearance on "Saturday Night Live" last weekend helped the program earn its highest viewership ratings since 2012, the NBC television network said on Sunday.
