Republican candidate Jeb Bush says he's dropping out of the race to the White House after finishing a distant fourth place in South Carolina. It marks an end to his dream to become the third Bush president after his father and brother. (SOUNDBITE) (English) FORMER REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, JEB BUSH, SAYING: "The people of Iowa and New Hampshire and South Carolina have spoken and I really respect their decision so tonight I am suspending my campaign." Bush started out as a favourite but was unable to convert a substantial advantage in fundraising into success at the polls. Over in Donald Trump's camp, the billionaire rallies his supporters after rolling into victory. (SOUNDBITE) (English) REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING: "We go back to war tomorrow morning, tomorrow morning we'll be back. But I just want to congratulate the other candidates. There's nothing easy about running for president, I can tell you. It's tough, it's nasty, it's mean, it's vicious, it's beautiful... when you win, it's beautiful and we're going to start winning for our country, we're going to start winning." He easily defeated Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who were in a close fight for second place. Democrat Hillary Clinton's victory in Nevada solidifies her and Trump's positions as the frontrunners to get their parties' nominations for the election on November 8th.
