Giving the cameras a wave, Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff and her predecessor Lula da Silva met in Sao Paolo -- a day after Lula was detained by investigators for questioning in connection with a Petrobras corruption scandal. Rousseff flew specifically to Sao Paolo to show support and solidarity for her political mentor. She's been implicated implicated in the corruption scandal involving state oil company Petrobras and denies any wrongdoing. Lula's detention makes him the highest-profile figure to become ensnared in the two-year-old corruption probe. He was questioned over money laundering in the federal investigation that alleges he used oil money to finance his Workers Party campaigns. But Lula denies wrongdoing, and says the allegations have reinvigorated the Workers Party that helped bring him to power 13 years ago.
