U.S. First Lady Nancy Reagan dies at 94

Nancy Reagan, the former actress and widow of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan has passed away in her Los Angeles home of congestive heart failure, the Reagan library says. Gavino Garay reports.

Former first lady Nancy Reagan has died. The Reagan Library said she died of congestive heart failure at her Los Angeles home on Sunday. The former First Lady saw the late U.S. President Ronald Reagan, who died in 2004, through eight years in the White House -- years that included an assassination attempt and later Alzheimer's disease. An actress by trade, Reagan went on to become one of the most influential First Ladies in U.S. history. She will be buried next to her late husband at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California Reagan was 94 years old.
