ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Sunday (May 1) said America risked endangering its goal of diversity and inclusiveness, if Republican front-runner Donald Trump were to become president. "The leading Republican contender is the man who led the insidious birther movement to discredit the president's citizenship," she told an annual NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) dinner in Detroit, Michigan. "And when he was asked at a national television interview to disavow David Duke and other white supremacists, who are supporting his campaign, he played coy," Clinton continued. "We cannot let Barack Obama's legacy fall into Donald Trump's hands." Clinton, a former U.S. secretary of state, currently leads U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont in the race for the Democratic nomination.
