SUBTITLED-ROUGH CUT (no reporter narration) STORY: A right-wing group held special prayers in New Delhi on Wednesday for the victory of United States Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. A priest chanted Vedic hymns and members of the Hindu Sena (Hindu Army) made offerings to fire, as they sat holding photographs of Trump. Trump has won passionate supporters and detractors for his blunt talk and hardline proposals, including a proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States. The billionaire real estate developer has positioned himself as the answer to growing Islamic radicalism across the world. The president of the Hindu Sena said Trump was the only "saviour of mankind". Trump is leading the Republican primary election race.
