ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders criticized Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for securing superdelegate before the 2016 White House race in Modesto, California on Thursday. He called the super-delegate process "absurd" and told reporters ahead of a campaign rally estimated to have drawn some 3,000 people on a weekday "I'm an old fashioned guy, I kind of think democracy is a good idea," Sanders said. Meanwhile, Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton's campaign launched a big assault on Republican Donald Trump over his foreign policy ta, even as she battles to hold off rival Bernie Sanders in California. California holds its primary vote on June 7.
