Standing here in Yatta village, near the city of Hebron, are the relatives of two Palestinian gunmen who carried out an attack in Tel Aviv on Wednesday night. Four people died in the shooting, police say, at a popular shopping and restaurant area just outside Israel's Defence Ministry. The father of one of the gunmen says he wasn't expecting this. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) FATHER OF ONE OF THE PALESTINIAN GUNMEN, AHMAD MAKHAMREH, SAYING: "To be honest I was really surprised, I didn't expect this of him, I don't know what pushed him to do this, who organised this with him, I have no idea. The boy is a worker, he does not have any political leanings. I don't know, I was surprised by the news, just like everyone else." The two assailants were apprehended, and one was wounded. Security is now tight, and Israeli soldiers are patrolling their neighbourhood. The attack comes after a lull in violence in recent months.
