ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday (June 15) said he would not give up on pursuing stricter gun control legislation, despite the lack of progress made since the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre. "You would've thought several years later that on matters relating to rational gun safety, we would've made some progress by now," he told a Sandy Hook Promise reception in Washington, D.C. "Virginia Tech, Oak Creek, Charleston, San Bernardino, and now Orlando," Biden continued, listing subsequent high profile mass shootings. Sandy Hook Promise is a non-profit organization founded by several family members who lost loved ones in the Newtown massacre. "I refuse to give up, we refuse to give up," Biden said.
