ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Tens of thousands of Londoners including the mayor on Saturday (June 25) celebrated the city's annual gay pride parade which this year was overshadowed by concerns over Britain's decision to part ways with the European Union. Alongside Scotland, the majority of voters in London voted to remain in the E.U. One attendee said that even though the European Convention on Human Rights, which protects LGBT rights, was incorporated into British laws, he was worried that "a lot would change". London Mayor Sadiq Khan was also at the parade and said the U.K.'s capital city must have a "seat around the table" at negotiations over Britain's departure from the European Union. The UK's decision to exit Brussels could hit investment in the world's fifth-largest economy, threaten London's role as a global financial capital and usher in months of political uncertainty.
