North Korea holds a rally to hail its leader with a new title

A ceremony is held in Pyonyang to celebrate North Korean leader Kim Jong Un being made “Chairman of the State Affairs Committee”, adding to the long list of titles already held by the young leader. Ashraf Fahim reports.

North Korea's leader already holds a raft of elaborate titles, such as… "First Secretary of the Worker's Committee," and "Dear Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un" But on Sunday a rally was held to celebrate Kim Jong-Un being given one more. North Koreans lined up in the capital Pyonyang to hail the newly minted… "Chairman of the State Affairs Committee" North Korea's parliament made Kim the head of the new committee on Wednesday which reportedly replaces the powerful National Defense Commission. Presiding over Sunday's ceremony was Kim Yong Nam, the quote : "President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly" Kim Jong-Un also holds the rank of Marshal in North Korea's military and is most commonly referred to as "Our Marshall" But can now add one more honorific to his resume.
