ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION). STORY: Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's wife, Melania, stood by her husband's bid for the 2016 White House at Republican National Convention in Cleveland on Monday night. Melania's speech, introduced by the Republican presumptive nominee himself with bright lights and great pomp and circumstance, came toward the end of the first night of the RNC's speeches, delivered under the theme: "Make America Safe Again." "When it comes to my husband, I will say that I am definitely biased, and for good reason. I have been with Donald for eighteen years, and I have been aware of his love for this country since we first met," she told the audience. Melania Trump, who is a fashion designer and naturalized American citizen originally from Slovenia, said she was confident that her husband would be inclusive and work for all Americans. "Donald intends to represent all of the people, not just some of the people," she said. "That includes Christians and Jews and Muslims. It includes hispanics and African Americans, and the poor and the middle class."
