ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with his French counterpart, Jean-Marc Ayrault, in Paris on Saturday (July 30) to discuss a range of issues, including the conflict in Syria, relations with Russia and the state of NATO. Kerry said the two would not be discussing the U.S. presidential campaign, including comments made by Republican nominee Donald Trump, who told the New York Times last week that he might abandon NATO's guarantee of mutual defense if he is elected.
