Fifty Republicans warn of "dangerous" Trump

Fifty prominent Republican national security officials, including a former CIA director, have issued a statement saying party nominee Donald Trump would be ''the most reckless president in American history.'' Jillian Kitchener reports.

Fifty prominent Republican national security officials, including former CIA director Michael Hayden, have released a statement saying Donald Trump is unqualified to lead the country. The statement reads, quote, "we are convinced that he would be a dangerous president and would put at risk our country's national security and well-being." Among the signatories -- former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and former Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte... In response, Trump says the signatories are - quote - "the failed Washington elite" who he says "deserve the blame for making the world such a dangerous place." Although the statement does not cite specific comments, Trump has raised eyebrows with several statements during the campaign. Senator Susan Collins of Maine has also announced she will not be voting for Trump, saying - quote - he "does not reflect historical Republican values nor the inclusive approach to governing."
