Arianna Huffington, the co-founder of the Huffington Post, is turning her attention in a new direction. She announced on Twitter that she'll be stepping down as editor-in-chief of the news site to focus on running her new venture, health and wellness startup Thrive Global. She tweeted the startup's mission is to change the way people work and live by ending the collective delusion that burnout is a necessary price for success. Verizon Communications Inc owns the Huffington Post through AOL. After Verizon bought AOL in June 2015, Huffington renewed her contract to stay on as the site's editor-in-chief and president through 2019. But she said she "couldn't do justice to both companies." No immediate word on who would succeed Huffington as editor-in-chief.
