Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump promised to deport anyone who entered the U.S. illegally during his immigration speech on Wednesday. Trump spoke to supporters in Arizona where he reinforced his hardline approach on the matter. (SOUNDBITE) English REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE DONALD TRUMP SAYING: "People will know you can't just smuggle in, hunker down and wait to be legalized. Those days are over." Trump made the speech hours after meeting with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto in Mexico City. The visit was meant to repair relations with the country which have been damaged by Trump's routine attacks on the Mexican people. Trump has said that if he's elected president he would force the Mexican government to pay for a wall along the border, but in a tweet after Trump left, Pena Nieto claimed otherwise. Young demonstrators carrying pinatas of Trump protested in Los Angeles to draw attention to Trump's immigration policies. Hispanics make up around 17 percent of the U.S. population, making them a critical voter group. Trump is currently trailing his rival Hillary Clinton.
