ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine on Sunday, in the aftermath of an explosion that rocked Manhattan the night before, said that the "smart sharing of intelligence" was key in preventing any such attack in the U.S., or abroad. "The way you stop lone-wolf attacks is through smart sharing of intelligence. You have to have strong alliances, for example with NATO allies, and share intelligence about people. People who might be traveling from one country to the next," Kaine said on CBS' Face the Nation program. Earlier on Sunday, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said that it was too early to know the motive behind the deliberate blast in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood which injured nearly 30 people. Officials said there was still no indication that the explosion on Saturday was linked to international terrorism, while investigators scoured the scene of the blast.
