Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump says violent unrest on the streets of Charlotte, North Carolina following the shooting death of a black man by police ''is a threat to all peaceful citizens.'' Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said on Thursday that the victims of violent unrest over the course of two previous nights in Charlotte, North Carolina were African American families and children living in inner-city neighborhoods. "The main victims of these violent demonstrations are law-abiding African Americans who live in these communities and only want to raise their children in safety and peace," Trump said during a campaign speech in Chester, Pennsylvania. Authorities in Charlotte, North Carolina declared a curfew from midnight until six in the morning, local time, following two nights of unrest over the shooting death of a black man by police. At least one person was killed in the violent demonstrations.
