ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine said Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump has again and again has praised Russian President Vladimir Putin and added that it's clear he has business dealings with oligarchs close to Putin. Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence denied that claim. Pence said the "small and bullying" leader of Russia is dictating terms to the United States in Syria. Kaine and Pence were facing off at the vice presidential debate at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. Farmville, a town of 8,000 nestled in the heart of central Virginia, got a rare spell in the limelight on Tuesday night when U.S. vice presidential candidates faced off at Longwood University in their only debate of the general election campaign. Democrat Hillary Clinton has led Republican Donald Trump in national opinion polls in recent months. On Tuesday, an average of polls aggregated by RealClearPolitics website showed her with 48.1 percent of support compared to Trump's 44.3 percent.
