ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Melania Trump on Saturday (November 5) urged supporters in North Carolina to work hard to elect her husband, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, as the campaign enters its final days. North Carolina is one of the critical swing states, that could be critical in deciding the election. Trump is seeking to capitalize on polls that show him closing the gap between him and his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton after the revelation that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into a new trove of emails as part of its probe into her handling of classified information while she was secretary of state. A McClatchy-Marist opinion poll released on Saturday of voters nationwide showed Clinton leading by one percentage point compared to 6 percentage points in September. A Reuters/Ipsos tracking poll also released Saturday showed Clinton ahead by 4 percentage points nationally compared to 5 points on Friday. Melania Trump has made few appearances during her husband's campaign, but the speech in Wilmington, North Carolina marked her second one this week, where she echoed Trump's contention that he is the only one who can fix the country's "rigged system." "It is a movement for all of those who are left behind by a broken and rigged system," Melania Trump said on Saturday of her husband's campaign. "This is a movement which is inspiring and inclusive." Trump will also campaign Saturday in Nevada and Colorado.
