On the eve of the U.S. presidential election... NATS: POLLING PLACE Long lines outside a polling place in Youngstown, Ohio. With only one day left in the tight presidential race between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump... Polls remain open for early voting in the battleground state even as it ended elsewhere in the country. For this once booming industrial town in America's rust belt, Trump's promise to bring life back to abandoned mills and plants is why many are ready for change. SOUNDBITE: PHIL DITTRICH, TRUMP SUPPORTER, SAYING: "Why not a change, I mean the only thing in the last eight years is that the police are the bad guys and the criminals are the good guys." In New York City, security is tight as voters get ready to head to the polls. SOUNDBITE: ALFONSO LUGO, VOTER,SAYING: "I'm hoping there's a big turnout. At the end of the day, it's a free country and we have the right to vote so people should exercise it no matter which way." Officers and K-9's patrolled the streets, keeping a watchful eye ahead of the election. Authorities on high alert outside the Jacob Javits Convention Center where Clinton will spend election night There's also a heavy police presence outside Trump Tower, the campaign headquarters for the Republican nominee.
