(NAT OF PROTESTERS CHANTING) Thousands took to the streets for another night, protesting the election of Donald Trump as the next U.S. president. They're denouncing his campaign promises to restrict immigration and make Muslims entering the country register, as well as allegations that the reality-TV star sexually abused women. Dozens of protesters have been arrested and a handful of police injured. In Portland, Oregon, police say they arrested more than 20 people Saturday night after demonstrators tossed burning flares and bottles at them. (NAT OF POLICE TELLING PROTESTERS TO DISPERSE) Other demonstrators marched to Trump's front door at New York's Trump tower. (SOUNDBITE)(English) ERICA LAZARUS, SAYING: "Kinda tell him, look, we'll keep you in line. We're going to make sure you won't make any drastic decisions. I'm a millennial, you know, it's our future." Protesters also marched in other cities including San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles. (SOUNDBITE) (English) UNIDENTIFIED MAN, SAYING: "I just have to be out here to stand up for myself, the people I love, my friends, my family, it's very important to me." Trump initially denounced the demonstrators, saying they were "incited" by media, but later switched course. On Twitter, he praised their "passion for our great country" and added, "We will all come together and be proud!"
