President-elect Donald Trump isn't the only one bragging about getting better prices on airplanes. The Iranian government says it is getting eighty new Boeing planes half price. That's half off more than $16 billion dollars Boeing had been asking for. As a result of President Obama lifting international sanctions on Iran, Boeing and its European rival Airbus have both signed huge contracts to supply planes to the country. While Iran's needs to replace its fleet, the industry is very price competitive, and that is reflected in the discount. A Boeing's spokesperson was not available to comment.
