ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Video provided to Reuters by North Korea's official news agency KCNA, which Reuters cannot independently verify, showed audience members including foreigners watching performances by synchronised swimmers at Changgwang Health Complex. North Korea held sports events on Wednesday (February 15) in Pyongyang to celebrate the 75th birth anniversary of late leader Kim Jong Il. The late leader Kim Jong Il died on December 17, 2011. His birthday, February 16, which is now a national holiday, has also been designated as "the Day of the Shining Star." While the country is celebrating late leader's birth anniversary, the current leader is suspected to be behind a murder of his half-brother Kim Jong Nam in Malaysia, which happened on Monday (February 13).
