(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump gathered for his rally in Louisville, Kentucky, on Monday (March 20) with some saying they doubted that FBI Director James Comey was capable of carrying out an independent investigation into possible ties between Trump's presidential campaign and Moscow. Appearing before a congressional panel, Comey on Monday confirmed for the first time that the bureau is investigating possible ties between Trump's campaign and Russia as Moscow sought to influence the 2016 U.S. election. Monday's hearing was a rare open congressional intelligence committee hearing and it revealed a stark partisan divide in focus. Majority Republicans concentrated their questions on leaks of classified information - a concern that Trump frequently mentions - and media reports on issues such as contacts between former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian officials.
