ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. The Saudi Arabian media was broadly positive in its coverage of United States President Donald Trump's visit to the Kingdom on Friday (May 19). For one Saudi Arabian political commentator the visit has generated very positive energy and momentum. Salman al Ansari said the Kingdom would play an increased regional role as a result of the visit, which would see leaders from other Arab states come together to meet Donald Trump. Donald Trump is set to arrive in Riyadh on Saturday (May 20) for the beginning of this first foreign trip as United States President which will also include visits to Israel, Belgium and Italy. The trip was billed as a chance to visit places sacred to three of the world's major religions while creating face time with Arab, Israeli and European leaders.
