NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman expected to arrive in North Korea on Tuesday (June 13). Reports suggesting he'll be catching a flight from Beijing to Pyongyang - the latest in a string of trips he's made to the reclusive state. It's not clear why Rodman is going this time, though he is one of the only Americans to have ever met Kim Jong Un, and is also on good terms with President Trump. Kim is a known admirer of Rodman and the feeling seems to be mutual. (SOUNDBITE) (English) FORMER NBA BASKETBALL PLAYER DENNIS RODMAN SAYING: "He's a nice guy, to me. Nice guy, you know. Whatever he does political-wise, that's not my job." Rodman's trip comes at a time of heightened tensions between Pyongyang and Washington fueled by the North's nuclear and missile tests. In the past, he's said has said his trips would help open a doorway. Although, some U.S. politicians and activists have criticised him for feeding North Korean propaganda.
