(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Scuffles broke out in Taiwan's parliament on Tuesday (July 18) during a budget meeting for an infrastructure development plan. Members of both the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and opposition Kuomintang (KMT) party could be seen tackling each other to the ground, shoving, and throwing water at each other. The disagreement occurred over the controversial so-called Infrastructure Development Program, which is advocated by the ruling DPP, and opposed by the nationalist KMT. The program mainly aims to build light-rail infrastructure throughout the island.
