Argentine peso weakens 1.41 percent on excess liquidity

BUENOS AIRES, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Argentina’s peso currency weakened on Tuesday by 1.41 percent to 37.00 per U.S. dollar, according to traders.

The peso was driven down by excess liquidity in the local currency gravitating towards safe-haven U.S. dollars, traders said.
