Printed circuit boards maker AT&S's 9M core profit down 29%

VIENNA, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Printed circuit boards maker AT&S on Tuesday reported a 29% drop in nine-month core profit, blaming spending on research and development and a difficult market environment.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) came in at 156.4 million euros ($173 million) in the nine months through end-December on revenues of 753.2 million euros, AT&S said.

The company cut its revenue and margin forecast for the business year that ends in March on Monday, saying production in China was affected by the spreading of the coronavirus.
