Adani aims to ship first coal from Australian mine in March 2020

MELBOURNE, Aug 28 (Reuters) - India’s Adani Enterprises said on Monday it plans to begin work in October to build the controversial Carmichael coal project in Australia, aiming to make its first shipment in March 2020.

The company said accommodation at the Carmichael camp reopened last week, setting the company on course to start work on the long-delayed project, which has been down-sized to A$4 billion ($3.18 billion) in its first stage.
