JERUSALEM, July 29 (Reuters) - The new chief executive of Bank Hapoalim, one of Israel’s largest banks, is expected to begin the job on Oct. 1, the bank said on Monday.
Hapoalim said that pending approval by the banking regulator, Dov Kotler would enter the position at the start of the fourth quarter.
Kotler’s appointment was announced on July 15. He had served as CEO of Hapoalim’s former credit card business Isracard between 2009 and 2015 but most recently he has been chairman of real estate investment firm iintoo. (Reporting by Ari Rabinovitch; Editing by Tova Cohen)
