Belarus inflation slows to 6 pct y/y in July

MINSK, Aug 10 (Reuters) - The Belarussian inflation rate slowed to 6 percent year-on-year in July versus 6.5 percent a month earlier, the state statistics service said on Thursday.

Last year, inflation eased to 10.6 percent from 12 percent in 2015. The government expects it to hit around 7 percent by the end of 2017. (Reporting by Andrey Makhovksy; Writing by Alessandra Prentice; Editing by Robin Pomeroy)
