MINSK/MOSCOW, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Belarusian state oil firm Belneftekhim expects Safmar companies to remain its sole source of Russian crude next month, as no new supply contracts have been signed with other firms, it said on Friday.
Safmar companies have been the only suppliers of Russian oil to Belarus this month, with shipments from other suppliers suspended since Jan. 1 as Moscow and Minsk wrangle over terms for a new crude oil supply deal this year.
“No new oil supply contracts for 2020 have been signed with Russian companies. As of today, we expect the same suppliers for February as in January,” a Belneftekhim representative told Reuters on Friday.
