JBS agrees to Brazil leniency deal with controlling shareholders

SAO PAULO, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Brazilian meatpacker JBS SA has signed the terms of an agreement to participate in a leniency deal between controlling shareholder J&F Investimentos SA and federal prosecutors, according to a securities filing on Wednesday.

JBS said its participation in the leniency agreement will place no financial burden on the meatpacker, as J&F is entirely responsible for paying the related fine. (Reporting by Ana Mano; Editing by Chris Reese)
